Can you clean a fence without damaging the wood?

Should I clean before staining or sealing?

Always. Stain and sealer bond to clean, sound wood — put them over mildew or gray oxidation and they fail early. We finish with a prep rinse and let you know how long to let the wood dry before your stain goes on.

Do you clean both sides of the fence?

Wherever we can get access, yes. If the far side belongs to a neighbor we'll clean what's reachable from your property and let you know what we couldn't get to before we invoice.

Does this work on vinyl and composite decking?

It does. Vinyl fencing and composite decking clean up very well with a low-pressure wash and the right solution, which pulls the green film off without the chalky, scoured look aggressive pressure leaves behind.
