Will soft washing damage my siding or paint?

No. Soft washing runs at roughly garden-hose pressure and lets the cleaning solution do the work, so vinyl, brick, stucco, hardboard and painted wood are all safe. High pressure is what forces water behind siding and strips paint, and we don't use it on the walls of a house.

How often should a house in Acadiana be washed?

Most homes around Lafayette look their best on a once-a-year schedule because of our humidity and long pollen season. Heavily shaded homes, or ones near fields and tree lines, often need it every 8 to 10 months before the mildew comes back in earnest.

Do you protect landscaping and plants?

Yes. Beds, shrubs and grass are pre-wet before we start, kept wet during the wash and rinsed again afterward, which dilutes anything that reaches them. We also close windows and cover fixtures that need it before the first drop hits the wall.

How long does a house wash take?

A typical single-story home takes about two to three hours, and a two-story runs closer to half a day. We wash siding, eaves, soffits, gutter faces, window frames and doors in the same visit rather than charging those out separately.
